I See The Light is from the 2010 Disney animated musical Tangled. This Disney playlist favorite was composed by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater. The song was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 83rd Academy Awards in 2011, but lost to another Disney musical legend, Randy Newman’s song We Belong Together from Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 3.
